Chloe Martel Lorion
Patternmaker and tech pack consultant for natural-fiber fashion brands
I started ChloeML Design after watching the same thing happen again and again: talented designers with strong ideas, stuck because their tech pack wasn't telling factories what they needed. The cost showed up as wasted samples, wasted fabric, and budgets spent before production even started. That felt fixable, so I made it my work.
I'm a patternmaker and tech pack consultant specializing in natural-fiber garments. I help fashion brands turn their design vision into factory-ready documentation that reduces sampling rounds, prevents miscommunication, and keeps production aligned with their values.
Natural fibers are demanding. Wool, silk, cotton, linen, and hemp each behave differently. Drape shifts, shrink and recovery vary, and small construction details can create fit issues that cost extra rounds of sampling. Getting them right takes specific knowledge, and that's what I bring.
When you work with me, you work with me directly. No handoffs, no junior team, no surprises. I take a limited number of projects at a time so each one gets proper focus.
My process is structured but not rigid. I ask a lot of questions early so we're not fixing things later. I'll tell you honestly what will and won't hold up in production, and I explain my reasoning as we go.
I trained in patternmaking at the School of Apparel Design and Development at Seattle Central College, with over 10 years of experience in garment construction, fit analysis, grading, and tech pack development. I'm based in Seattle and work with brands locally and remotely.
Let's talk! If you're building a brand around natural fibers and want technical support you can rely on, I'd like to hear about your project.
